The point is, despite the fact that it makes almost no business sense whatsoever (sales coaches avert your eyes now), we rely almost entirely on an elaborate game of “Chinese Whispers” to keep afloat: feedback, word-of-mouth referrals and approaches from new clients as a result of published articles or social media posts.
